Pok-Ad-Ot for Godot Wild Jam #81
Pok-Ad-OT
This is my submission for the Godot Wild Jam #81: Expedition.
I chose to use the wildcard option of Are We the Baddies?
I had hoped to just export this as HTML 5 but when I test played the game, it ran terribly and some of the controls (using a controller) did not work correctly, so I have also included the 3 other OS exports just in case.
Controls - Controller (recommended)
Move - Left stick/D-Pad
Jump - Bottom Button (A on XBOX, X on Playstation)
Action - Right Button (B on XBOX, O on Playstation) or either trigger button (LT/RT on XBOX, L2/R2 on Playstation)
Change character - Shoulder buttons (LB/RB on XBOX, L1/R1 on Playstation)
Pause - Start button
Controls - Keyboard
Move - A/D
Jump - W/Space
Action - Enter
Change character - Q/E
Pause - P
Note: Some characters' actions require you to hold down the action key.
Known bugs:
- Once you get Game Over the following playthroughs experience issues, like being told you lose randomly when you really have not. For now the fix is to reload the game, sorry.
- Not exactly a bug, but it isn't clear what the goal is - defend the Golden Mask by destroying the explorers before they reach it.
- Music fails to play outside of the menu

Notes:
I am a new game developer hobbyist. This was my first game jam. I know this could by better with some more time but I felt like it was better to get something in than to not finish. I hope you enjoyed playing it.

looks nice ! congratz on completing a game jam but if u can add the controls to make clearer because the first 2 min was trying out buttons.
Thank you! I'm sorry the controls were confusing, I ran out of time for a real good controls page. Next game jam I will be sure to work on that sooner. Actually, now that I am thinking about it I think I totally forgot to make a pause button for the keyboard (I built the game to play with a controller). I'll have to fix that after the voting is done! Thank you for the heads up.
